Okay…. now it’s time for some music stuff. Let’s begin with Mariah Carey’s latest new album, one affectionately known as The Emancipation of Mimi. Mimi is what Mariah’s close frens call her, and there’s lots of news saying that her frens don’t like her to use Mimi as a title for an album. Produced by Island Records, The Emancipation of Mimi (TEM) is very slick, very hot. Very good tracks include, It’s Like That, Mine Again, one called Say Somethin’, feat. Snoop Dogg, and the much hyped-about We Belong Together. All together, a very new, very fresh album. Recommendable, but only if you like very softly smooth songs with a touch of whimsical whine.

Now that that’s over with, it’s time to move it to the rap/R&B scene with one by The Black-Eyed Peas. Very new album, and this one infinitely better than their Elephunk. Good tracks include Don’t Lie, Pump It, In Da Club and the widely-loved Don’t Phunk with My Heart. Very slick and cool, the songs outrageously funny, and the tunes nicely-blended. The BEP is heading for massive stuff now, with a lot more tracks exceeding 4 minutes. They are about to disband and this album shows it. The lyrics have small hidden meanings, and a great album for the Sunday stay-home morning.

So terribly sorry… I have not been updating my blog for AGES… very busy, see… Drama Feste took up the whole month. I’ll have a full account for you. Also, I have gotten to my hands an awesome new album by Mariah Carey, and I will review hers as well as The Black-Eyed Peas latest, and then we’ll have the monthly music charts. Also, a great new movie I’ve watched this month… Probabaly over in cinemas, but what the heck… I’ve got just one Bitch Files entry… Too busy to be snappish, angry or otherwise pissed… and hence three weeks and one day worth of bloglessness will not warrant for more than one BITCH files entry. Btw, two good friends of mine are now part of my house Drama Feste, like me. I am the senior amongst them all, because I had one-half years experience, as well as having more opinion in the director’s eyes. So I was going home after a particularly tedious rehearsal, and this Sec 1 inferiority STOLE a taxi from right under my NOSE! I was so pissed, and even more when his friend started to flag down a cab as well. They were standing ahead of me, so they were… priority, in a way. I went ahead of him. He went ahead of ME. I was not happy.

So I said, “Your friend’s got a taxi and now you want one too.”
He looked at me quizzically. I don’t usually attack Sec 1s unless they attack me first. Upper secondary students provide more fun.
I said, ” Can I have the next taxi?”
He went, ” No.”
I went, “Why not?”
He said, “Because I’ve been waiting longer.”
I smiled as sweetly as I could. “Well, in that case, wait some more. A few more hours couldn’t possibly do much more harm. I, however, need my beauty sleep. If I don’t get it, I get really BITCHY.”
He asked, “So?”
I said, “So that means you probably won’t live long enough to go up for another round against me.”

I got the next taxi first.

All this is for her million-dollar show The Oprah Winfrey Show, which attracts a few million viewers in America alone. With content like that, no wonder she was voted Forbes magazine’s Most Powerful Person 2005.

What’s Not…
Lindsay Lohan in Herbie: Fully Loaded. This upcoming movie will be set in a typical American racetrack, with Lindsay playing a female teen driver who is trying to fulfil her dreams. The movie itself isn’t too bad… The thing that isn’t really hot or fitting is the whole scene in the movie. All the old-styled racecars and track paint, doesn’t really go well with Lindsay’snew blonde hair. Keep checking back for a review about that upcoming movie!

Never test the limits of a teacher… or mine either

Recently I kinda pissed off a teacher R. Smith, after I sent her an e-mail that was ‘brusque’, ‘flippant’ and ‘without proper mannerisms’. Fair enough. I mean, I was kinda rude in that e-mail and I was quite dismissive. Of course, I had to send her a apology e-mail as well as a personal ’sorry’. So no sweat if she actually told me off, or sent me a violent hate-reply or something. But noooo… After rejecting my apologies, she actually went to complain to other teachers, other students, and made sound threats to destroy the whole house, class and CCA that I was in (including me). I was very very very angry. Fine, so I got some stuff wrong and was probably quite rude too. But I apologized with three e-mails, a personal apology, and a public RADIO ‘SORRY’! What the hell more does she want?

What an absolute BITCH. And so that she knows, if you, the teacher is reading this, this comes deep and true from the heart, the one that is truly humiliated by all the blame put on me. If she continues to bitch me off, I will swear to God, I will destroy her utterly, or die trying.
